Shipping & Returns
Everything you need to know about how your order travels from breeder to your door, and what happens if something is not right.
How Our Shipping Works
Gold Hill Seeds is a curated multi-breeder catalog. When you place an order, we purchase the seeds directly from the breeder on your behalf. The breeder then packages and ships your order directly to you. Your seeds come straight from the source -- handled by the people who produced them.
This model means you have access to genetics from 40+ breeders in a single checkout, without the complexity of managing separate accounts and transactions across multiple seed banks.
If your order includes strains from multiple breeders, you will receive separate packages -- one from each breeder. Each ships independently with its own tracking number. This is normal and expected.

Tracking information is sent to your email address once the breeder ships your order. You can also view the tracking status through your account dashboard. If you have not received a tracking number within 4 business days of placing your order, contact us and we will follow up with the breeder.
If your order has not arrived within 14 business days of the ship date, reach out. We coordinate directly with the breeder to investigate and resolve the issue. Lost shipments are reshipped or refunded.
Discreet Packaging
All of our breeder partners ship in plain, unmarked packaging. There is no reference to cannabis, seeds, the breeder name, or Gold Hill Seeds on the outside of any package. The billing descriptor on your card statement is also neutral.
Your privacy is taken seriously at every step. If you have a question about a specific billing descriptor before placing an order, contact us and we will confirm it in advance.
Return Policy
Because orders ship directly from each breeder to you, return logistics are handled on a per-breeder basis. Contact us before returning anything. We coordinate the process with the breeder on your behalf so you are not navigating it alone.
Unopened packs
Eligible for return within 14 days of delivery. The pack must be in its original, undamaged packaging. Contact us first with your order number and we will provide return instructions specific to the breeder who fulfilled your order.
Opened packs
Not eligible for return. Opened seed packs are covered by our Germination Guarantee instead. If seeds fail to germinate under correct conditions, we will send replacements.
Refund timing
Once a return is received and confirmed by the breeder, refunds are processed within 5 business days back to the original payment method.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, contact us within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number and a clear photo of the packaging and the contents.
We will coordinate with the breeder to send a replacement at no charge to you. You do not need to ship anything back for damaged or incorrect orders.
Order Cancellations
Contact us as quickly as possible if you need to cancel. Once we have placed the order with the breeder, cancellation depends on whether the breeder has processed it yet.
If the order has not shipped, we will request a cancellation with the breeder and issue a full refund. If it has already shipped, the order follows the standard return process once delivered.
