Every seed sold through Gold Hill Seeds is backed by this guarantee. If your seeds do not germinate under the right conditions, we make it right. No runaround.

A minimum of 80% of seeds in any pack will germinate when standard conditions are met. If they do not, we send replacements. It is that straightforward.

How to Claim

Four Steps. No Hassle.

Use the right method

Paper towel, direct soil, or water glass -- any standard method qualifies. The towel must be damp, not wet. Temperature must be between 70-85 degrees F. Seeds must be kept in darkness.

Document what happened

Take a clear photo of your setup and the ungerminated seeds. This does not need to be professional -- a phone photo is fine. We just need to see the conditions clearly.

Contact us within 30 days

Reach out through the contact page with your order number, a brief description of the germination conditions you used, and the photo. We do not require you to return the seeds.

We send replacements

We review every claim and respond within 2 business days. If your claim is approved, we re-order the same genetics from the breeder and ship replacements to you at no cost.

What Is Covered

Qualifies

  • Seeds germinated using the paper towel method, direct soil, or water glass
  • Temperature maintained between 70-85 degrees F throughout germination
  • Moisture level damp but not saturated -- towel should not drip when lifted
  • Seeds kept in darkness for the duration
  • Claim submitted within 30 days of receiving your order
  • Photo documentation of the setup and ungerminated seeds provided

Does Not Qualify

  • Seeds that were opened and then stored for an extended period before germinating
  • Seeds germinated using very high temperatures (above 90 degrees F) or very low temperatures (below 65 degrees F)
  • Seeds damaged by physical handling -- taproot torn, seed cracked before planting
  • Claims submitted more than 30 days after order delivery
  • Seeds from packs that were opened, used, and not stored correctly
A few important notesBecause orders are fulfilled by our breeder partners and shipped directly to you, replacements are sourced from the same breeder. In the rare case a specific pack is out of stock, we will offer an equivalent strain or a full refund. The guarantee covers seeds sold through Gold Hill Seeds only. We cannot process claims for seeds purchased elsewhere. All claims are subject to review. Abuse of the guarantee program will result in account suspension.
