FAQ

All you need to know
about this product

Malawi delivers rare Central African landrace genetics with 25%+ THC and extraordinary yields, ready for experienced growers who understand the reward of a long flowering window.

This variety is rooted in the P4 landrace from Malawi, Central Africa, developed by Ace Seeds through a cross of Old Malawi Killer with third-generation Malawi selections. That lineage places it among the most authentic sativa genetics available in feminised seed form today, preserving traits that have largely disappeared from commercial breeding. If pure, uncompromised sativa heritage matters to you, there are very few strains that come close.

Malawi is best suited to experienced growers who are confident managing large, vigorous sativa plants through a long flowering cycle. The 11 to 13 week flowering window and the plant's considerable height demand space planning, training skills, and patience. First-time growers or those used to compact indica-dominant varieties would likely find it a challenging introduction.

Indoors under well-managed conditions, Malawi produces a high yield in the range of 450 to 600 grams per square metre. Outdoor plants have the space to fully express the variety's potential, with individual plants capable of exceeding 750 grams. Either way, the long flowering commitment is directly reflected in the final harvest weight.

The aroma and flavour profile is a grounded, complex combination of earth, ripe fruit, and raw wood — characteristic of its Central African landrace roots rather than modern hybridised sweetness. The effect is a clear-headed, expansive, and energising sativa high, driven by THC levels above 25 percent. It's the kind of experience that reflects the strain's pure heritage: uplifting and cerebral without feeling muddled.
